Do Americans have the right to complain?

As of today, in America gas on average is $3.79 per gallon. Last summer on average in America gas was $2.76 per gallon. There is no clear answer as to why the increase this year is that dramatic. Meanwhile in Venezuela, a world leader in gas exports, gas is only .12 cent a gallon. Could you even imagine filling up your tank for $2.00?
